"Ibang Klase" aims to provide the kids of Barangay Pag-asa (Bumbero) with an alternative classroom experience that highlights nationalism, environmentalism, and volunteerism. These issues will be discussed through non-traditional methods such as story-telling, arts and crafts, poetry, and sports. This project is reminiscent of the Saturday tutorials that as high school students, we used to give to our public school counterparts. We are hoping to reach out to approximately 60 grade school-level children and 15-20 teenagers. This project will be held in cooperation with Rock Ed Philippines and Manila Football Alliance.
