About the project:
"Ibang Klase" aims to provide the children with an alternative classroom experience that highlights nationalism, environmentalism, and volunteerism. These issues will be discussed through non-traditional methods such as story-telling, arts and crafts, and poetry. This project is reminiscent of the Saturday tutorials that as high school students, we used to give to our public school counterparts. We are hoping to reach out to approximately 50 grade school-level children and 15-20 teenagers.

There will be a meeting at 8:00 PM tonight, 11 April 2008, at Treehouse along Matalino Street, Quezon City. We will be discussing our upcoming events, including the Ibang Klase (Alternative Classroom Learning Program, initially for children in the community in front of Pisay, and in cooperation with RockEd Philippines) and the proposed Earth Day project (clean-up climb or mangrove planting, c/o Peng).
